Project objective
To develop and bring to market the Motyl app: a tool for daily hearing training at home for children with hearing loss, with ongoing progress monitoring.
Who the project supports
Children aged 4–12 with mild to moderate hearing loss, their parents and caregivers, speech and hearing therapists, other therapists, clinics and educational institutions.
Planned activities
Developing an iOS and Android app with interfaces for children, parents and therapists; preparing therapeutic exercises and studio recordings with a specialist in speech therapy for people with hearing loss; running a pilot with families and institutions; improving the app based on the pilot findings; and bringing the product to market.
Expected results
An app available in the app stores that meets WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards; a library of listening exercises and recordings; a panel enabling specialists to support therapy remotely between appointments; and the first individual and institutional customers.
